Year 7 Mandarin Ladder – Kindly shared by Newton Leng: “As I am trying to include low-stake formative assessments throughout the lessons, I have borrowed a really simple ideal which is to create a lower set (non-MEP) pupil-friendly Mandarin Ladder for my Y7 and Y8. It is editable and can be printed as a bookmark. Pupils should get into the routine after a month and should be able to elaborate on ‘what they have been doing and what they can produce’ during inspections”.
