We are delighted to announce that the Early Career Professional Development – Mandarin Teacher Micro-programme 2022-2023 is now open to applications.
In line with the Early Career Framework, this highly popular subject-specific CPD programme – which has been delivered over the past two years – aims to support first-year and second-year Early Career Teachers of Mandarin in the UK, and complement their general induction programme. It will be delivered through three full-day face-to-face sessions in 2022-2023, on campus, at UCL.
Covering a range of specifically selected areas and topics, this programme will enable ECTs of Mandarin to further develop their practice and subject expertise with experts, experienced practitioners and peers.

This programme is free of charge to all first- and second-year ECTs of Mandarin who will be working in UK-based schools in 2022-2023. As we anticipate high demand for the programme and spaces are limited, prospective applicants should apply as soon as possible and before the deadline of Friday 16th September 2022. Applications may close earlier than the deadline if all places on the course are filled.
