How do we use mobile technologies in the Chinese classroom?
ICT Expert Rebecca Wilson will join us this March to share her passion and skills with teachers of Chinese.
Join Rebecca to upgrade your ICT skills for the Chinese classroom and beyond. You will develop your practical skills with mobile devices (e.g. iPads, tablets and smart phones) and web-based platforms. This will include simple step-by-step instructions for:
- A free audio editor and recorder (helpful for speaking & listening)
- Improving classroom presentations (upgrade your lesson delivery)
- Using technology to give feedback (digitise your assessment for learning)
- Movie Maker (to personalise your students’ learning experiences)
Whatever the ICT equipment is like in your school, come and be inspired by an industry expert. ‘Developing a Dynamic Classroom’ is a two-part training course on 27-28 March 2015 (Part 1) and 24-25 April 2015 (Part 2). Rebecca’s session will be on the first day. Additional teaching experts and presenters are yet to be announced!
This course is most suitable for current teachers of Chinese who would like to upgrade their professional skills and increase their collection of learning resources. The course will include a strong element of participation and gaining “hands on” experience.
