For anyone living in travelling distance of Bristol, our Primary Coordinator, James Trapp, will be at Bristol Museum on Saturday 21st February, to help celebrate Chinese New Year. The museum has a multitude of events happening that day, and James will be on hand between 2.30-4.30pm at the Museum stall, to answer any questions you might have about current teaching of Mandarin Chinese, introducing the subject into your school, or just fun ideas for bringing the culture and language into your school. There is also a wonderful current exhibition of contemporary art from China, Ahead of the Curve, which is well worth a visit.
Please pop along if you have the time, and don’t forget that the nearby Museum of East Asian Art in Bath will be holding their celebrations the next day (Sunday 22nd February), so why not make a weekend of it?
Happy Year of the Sheep!
