In September 2014, the IOE Confucius Insitute launched the Young Photographers’ Competition, to coincide with National Confucius Institute Day. The competition is now in its third year and has seen some excellent photography from students across the world. The aim of the competition is to dispell the cultural stereotypes of China through photography and show the vast country through the eyes of young people. Each year we include a home-based category which explores China’s relationship with the United Kingdom.
