Last year we held two succesful grammar training events for Mandarin teachers, exploring common errors that students make, problems teachers meet when trying to address these grammar points, and ways in which activities could be used to help both teach and consolidate use of new grammar points.
This year, the UCL IOE CI will be holding a grammar training day in November, to revisit some of these grammar issues, focusing closely on real errors made by your students, and looking at different methods to approach grammar in and out of the classroom, led by the CI Director, Katharine Carruthers, and the CI Teacher Training Coordinator, Philippa Vallely.
As last year’s grammar training course became full very quickly, we advise booking as soon as possible to avoid missing out on a place.
