The IOE Confucius Institute Annual Chinese Conference is the largest CPD opportunity of its kind in the UK for teaching professionals in the subject area of Mandarin Chinese. The 21st Annual Chinese Teaching Conference will take place on Saturday 19th October 2024 at the UCL Institute of Education, University College London. Like in 2023 the Annual Chinese Teaching Conference will be a one day event, and is taking place in October. This year’s conference theme is “New Perspectives: New Horizons”. We are moving rapidly towards the second quarter of the 21^st century. The annual Chinese teaching conference is focussed on thinking ahead to the next steps needed to make Chinese a long-term, sustainable language option for schools. At the 20^th annual conference last year, we reflected on what has been achieved so far. In this year, the 21^st conference, we want to look ahead and consider how to sustain our achievements with innovative methods and creative thinking. A programme for the day is now AVAILABLE.
