IOE CI Job Vacancy: Mandarin Excellence Programme Project Officer

The IOE Confucius Institute is now recruiting a new Project Officer to join our team.

In the role you will work primarily on the Mandarin Excellence Programme but will also be involved in the delivery of other projects. The role requires a flexible approach to undertake a variety of tasks from administrative work through to the day-to-day management of projects on behalf of the IOE CI senior team.

The successful applicant will work alongside the Mandarin Excellence Programme team to provide support to schools participating in the programme. You will need to have experience in creating and sending marketing materials, and the confidence and experience to write and publish dynamic web content. The successful applicant will have experience in organising meetings and events for small and large groups, including conferences and the ability to work quickly and responsively, and to prioritise tasks effectively in order to meet specified deadlines.

Whoever is appointed will work closely with schools from across England through supporting the planning and delivery of teacher training. You’ll also work alongside colleagues at the British Council to support the development of a two week intensive learning visit to China for students.

If you have an interest in education, and a desire to develop competence and knowledge in the field of Chinese Teaching and Learning this would be a great opportunity.
