The 2018 Young Photographers’ Competition is now open

The IOE Confucius Institute 2018 Young Photographers’ Competition is open and accepting entries from anyone under the age of 18 years old. The competition has been running for five years and during that time has seen some incredible entries from around the world.

The 2018 Young Photographers’ Competition categories are:

East Meets West (UK-based category)

China: Past, Present and Future (portfolio category – five photos)

Chinese Characters (single photo category)

China at Play (single photo category)

The photography competition is open to anyone aged 18 years and under; entries will be exhibited in the main UCL campus, with winning entries being given the opportunity to exhibit at another exciting venue in London (more details to follow). Prizes for winners and runners-up include up to £200 worth of Amazon vouchers. The deadline for entries on Friday 9th November 2018 at 5pm.

Please include a title with all single photo categories and for portfolio entries, please include a paragraph of approximately 100 words about your photographs.

Entries should be emailed to chinesenetworks@ucl.ac.uk, along with any questions you may have. Please include your name, school and date of birth with all entries.
