FOR: Experienced Mandarin teachers interested in research and innovation
FOCUS: Design-based practitioner research on Cognitive Discourse Functions at KS4/5—advancing languaging and culturing through joint inquiry and knowledge production
DURATION: 7 November 2025–24 July 2026 (60 hours)
STRUCTURE: 4 face-to-face sessions, 3 online meetings, weekly collaborative tasks
ELIGIBILITY: 2+ years UK school-based teaching experience

Practice-based Pedagogy Innovation and Implementation Microprogramme
FOR: Experienced practitioners involved in subject leadership and curriculum development
CHOOSE ONE THEME:
• Vocabulary learning as a gateway to cultural consciousness and problem-solving
• Listening sub-skills: cognitive and scaffolded training for oral comprehension
DURATION: December 2025–April 2026 (25 hours)
STRUCTURE: 3 face-to-face sessions + mini implementation portfolio
