The Master of Teaching (MTeach) programme at the UCL Institute of Education is a 180 credit Masters course with flexible mode of study which can be taken over 2 to 5 years. Each module uses face-to-face and online activities. These are designed to fit in with teachers’ busy professional lives (e.g. occasional Saturday face-to-face sessions). The course has a number of ‘pathways’ which use modules specifically designed to suit teachers at different stages of their career. These include: New Teacher, Experienced Teacher, Mandarin Teacher and SEN Practitioner.
In partnership with the UCL IOE, the IOE CI is offering a new MTeach module – ‘Understanding the Teaching and Learning of Mandarin Chinese in Schools’.
