About: A one-day event for teachers and other colleagues to find out about the pathways for your school-leavers to pursue Mandarin at university level.

Representatives from universities who offer courses with Mandarin and/or Chinese cultural studies as a component will give presentations and be on hand to answer your questions.
• What university courses are available?
• Are there scholarships and how should school-leavers apply?
• What do graduates do after their degree course?

The presentation part of this course can be accessed via delayed stream on the IOE website; however, questions and meeting can only be facilitated by a face-to-face presence at the IOE.

Suitable for: All teaching professionals who wish to be more informed about options for students to continue studying Mandarin at university.

This course is not suitable for:

✘ Parents of pupils
✘ People who are not interested in university courses in Mandarin/Chinese Studies

All courses are heavily subsidised; the majority will be free (Annual Conference not included). A refundable deposit may apply (approx. £40). Participants will be expected to cover travel and accommodation. Bursaries are available.
