Teaching Chinese Grammar Course

p1020772About: This grammar training builds on training delivered in 2016 and 2015. The first session with Philippa uses non-textbook materials to look at how we can introduce grammar through reading and listening tasks, to develop student engagement with the language targeted. The second session with Katharine Carruthers takes a deeper look at ways in which we as teachers can explore inductive and deductive approaches to grammar teaching, and consider which approach can be more appropriate in different contexts.
