Annual Conference 2020 – Cancelled

Please find below a message from the IOE Confucius Institute for Schools team, as posted in our e-forum on 30th March:

The Annual Chinese Teaching conference scheduled to take place on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th June 2020 at UCL Institute of Education has had to be cancelled.  This is very disappointing, but inevitable, news for us all. However, we are keen to make sure that some key workshops will go ahead online at regular intervals during the summer term. We even hope to have a plenary speaker or two joining the UCL IOE CI online CPD summer programme as well. Whilst we shall miss the chance to get together, there are some advantages in that you won’t have to make that difficult decision about which workshop to attend; you can attend them all (and we hope you will!) We shall be in touch with the full programme in the coming days.

If you are a delegate or exhibitor who has already booked and paid for your place at this year’s conference you will receive a full refund. All booking payments will be refunded in April by BACS to the bank account from where your payment was made. You will be notified of this refund by email from the UCL payments team.

Should you have any questions about the cancellation of this year’s event please contact us at chinesenetworks@ucl.ac.uk.
